My Captain was inspired by a single day on the water with 3 amazing friends. The fellowship, the water, the wind in my "hair" connected with my spirit and soul thrusting me into a new phase of creativity. Indeed, I had been on a self imposed creative hiatus until this very day. I arrived home late in the evening from this day on the water, and wrote this tune.

Dedicated to my good friends, Mike Feuda, Ray Sullivan, and Heath Weber - The Captain!

My Captain's heavy soundscape recalls the waves of the water against the boat while the meticulous high hat, bass and harmonics remind the spirit to listen to the voice of the water.
